A proud moment for Shelton — Ripton staff, Civitas Networks, city leaders, and the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce come together to cut the ribbon and welcome a new era of internet service.
September 19, 2025 – Ripton Community Broadband officially launched with a grand opening and ribbon cutting at its new downtown Shelton office at 356 Howe Avenue. The event, hosted in partnership with the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, brought together city officials, community members, and local partners to celebrate the arrival of a new choice for high-speed internet in Shelton.
Guests had the opportunity to meet the Ripton team, explore the office and community coworking space, and learn more about Ripton’s mission to provide fast, reliable, and affordable internet designed exclusively for Shelton.
